Kyle Louis was born on November 28th 2001. He
was 6 lbs 10 ozs, 20" long and just as precious as could be!
It was a difficult pregnancy with an "anti E" blood disorder and pre mature labor,
but by the grace of God Kyle was born with only minimal problems at just about of 5 weeks early.
He spent his first week and a half of life in the NICU with major biliruben issues,
he actually got up to 26 at one point which is really quite dangerous. They also found he had a PDA which
is a very common congenital heart defect (CHD) but wanted an echo done on him at 1 month old to be sure all was ok.
At a month old they found he also had another CHD called ASD (atrial septal defect)
which is the same defect his big brother Connor had. Kyle's PDA was closed by 6 months old and by 1 year old his ASD
was just over 90% closed with no medical intervention! He will need to be checked maybe one or two more times in his
life but he is healed!!!
